 The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, self-motivated business development professional with a proven track record of results.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships, while maintaining and growing an established client base. You will demonstrate solution selling through uncovering needs and working with a team of health media strategists to develop compelling communications programs that demonstrate maximum ROI for your clients.

The successful candidate will possess a keen knowledge of and ability to effectively position a variety of media solutions for our healthcare clients including SEM, Social, SEO, Website Development, Digital Display and Print.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for the full business development process, from lead generation and prospecting, managing and leading new business presentations, to contract finalizations.

  • Maintain close relationships with clients and sustain client loyalty to the Healthing brand through holistic selling of both digital and print solutions.

  • Perform thorough needs assessments to fully understand customers’ needs and marketing goals, and work with the media strategist team to design a customized program to achieve your customers’ goals and KPIs.

  • Analyze KPIs to build effective multi-media solutions; measure ROI.

  • Work with commercial operations departments to develop B2B marketing strategies for business development leads.

  • Achieve revenue targets.

Who You Are:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma (business, science or another related discipline preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an advertising agency/sales/media environment.

  • Experience in healthcare advertising/marketing (familiarity with ASC and PAAB regulations) is considered an asset.

  • Highly motivated.

  • A proven ability to problem solve in a variety of situations.

  • An understanding of the importance of and focus on providing best-in-class client service

  • Comfortable speaking with decision makers both on the phone and in person.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Experience and understanding of the healthcare industry (pharmaceuticals, natural health products, medical devices, etc.) preferred.

  • French language skills are considered an asset.
